
Former President Maithripala Sirisena has left the premises of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry probing the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks.
Upon a summons, he arrived at the Commission for a third day of testifying, this evening (14).
Following the testimony today, he has been notified to reappear at the Commission for a fourth of testifying.
Accordingly, Sirisena is to appear before the Commission on October 17.
The ex-president had also testified before the commission for several hours on October 05 and October 12.
Sirisena had also previously attended the Presidential Commission’s proceedings on several occasions as an observer, to listen into the evidence heard before the Commission.
