Sri Lanka confirms 44 more Covid-19 recoveries

Ministry of Health says that 44 more persons who were under medical care for the Covid-19 have made complete recoveries today (21).

 

According to the Epidemiology Unit’s situation report, 03 patients at National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID), 05 at Colombo East Base Hospital, 16 including one foreigner at Hambantota District General Hospital, 05 at Theldeniya Base Hospital, 13 at Homagama Base Hospital and 02 at Laggala Pallegama Hospital have been discharged. 

 

The new development has brought the total number of Covid-19 recoveries in Sri Lanka to 3,501.

 

Total number of confirmed infections meanwhile stands at 5,811. The Epidemiology Unit says 2,297 of them are currently receiving treatment at selected hospitals across the country.
