Application for curfew passes for factories

It has been decided to introduce a method to provide ‘instant curfew passes’ for factories to continue their manufacturing processes during the curfew period, Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.

 

Institutions that wish to obtain curfew passes may download the form below and email the accurately filled form to the email address secretary@mws.gov.lk.

 

Accordingly, factories approved by the Board of Investments (BOI) or the Export Development Board (EDB) as well as factories related to agriculture, plantation, and the construction industry may obtain these passes to carry on operations during the curfew.

 

This process is overseen by the Secretary of Water Supply Ministry Dr. Priyathbandu Wickrama (071-968 8300)and the DIG in charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon (0718591017), the DIG Rohana said.
