Shaminda Eranga has been banned from bowling in international cricket for possessing an illegal action. The Sri Lankan pacer was reported for a suspect action during the second Test against England at Chester-le-Street, Durham.
Eranga, who made his debut in 2011, has played 19 Tests and 19 ODIs for Sri Lanka. In Tests conducted at the Loughborough University in Wales, his action was found to be illegal.
