West Indies won the toss and elected to field first against Sri Lanka in the fifth match of the tri-nation series played at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo.
They are unchanged from the previous game while Sri Lanka have made a couple of changes.
After only 14 overs of play in the last ODI between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka before rain played spoilsport and the contest was called off with wet outfield, this fifth match of the tri-series gets added meaning with place in the final up for grabs.
Both teams are evenly matched, at least on paper, and the conditions could make things even more level than what it is for both inexperienced sides.
Each ODI gets added meaning and importance for West Indies who are ninth in the ICC ODI rankings and still playing catch up in their bid to be placed inside the top-8 to qualify for the 2019 World Cup. With cut off date of September 30, 2017, West Indies have 11 matches to get themselves within safety.
