
The FIFA world cup trophy will arrive on the shores of Sri Lanka on January 23 2018, marking its 54-country journey on the way to the FIFA world cup in Russia.
Sri Lanka will be the first country that will display the world cup marking it as a very special occasion for the island nation.
The trophy will be handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena upon its arrival and will be displayed at the BMICH on January 24.
