Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding was a private affair but their reception held at Mumbai was star-studded. Many renowned names from both films and sports have attended the reception today at St.Regis. Virushka tied the knots in Italy amidst their family members.

The Indian skippers’ wedding with his long-term girlfriend, Anushka Sharma is one of the most talked events of 2017. Lots of big names including cricketers, businessmen, and renowned people from the film industry have attended the function to bless the recently married couple.

Virat who was rested from the limited-overs fixtures against Sri Lanka completed the rituals and ceremonies in Italy. The event was kept a secret, and no outsider was invited to the ceremony. Many rumours and speculations started doing rounds as soon as the media got to know about the skipper being rested. However, the whole thing was confirmed when both Kohli and Anushka were spotted with their families at the airport.

Sri Lanka’s super-fan  Gayan Senanayake attended the wedding reception. The dedicated fanboy was spotted in one of the pictures doing rounds in social media. Senanayake, the fan who travels the world to support his team was here for Sri Lanka’s tour of India.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli offered help to another Sri Lankan fan who has been with the team along with Gayan Senanayake. Nilam’s father was diagnosed to have a throat tumour, during the third and last Test in New Delhi. He required prompt surgery, however, his arrival ticket was booked from Mumbai on December 26 after the last T20 International. Nilam was stranded as he wasn’t in a position to afford the return ticket.

When Nilam got in touch with Rohit, the Indian batsman arranged for his travels. However, Kohli and Rohit offered financial help to Nilam but he refused to accept it. Gayan Senanayake, Pubudu, and Mohamed Nilam are the three Sri Lankan fans who have been travelling with the Sri Lankan team throughout the tour.
