Bangladesh, after a ton by Mominul Haque, got a first innings total of 513 against Sri Lanka on Day 2 of the first Test in Chittagong.
Bangladesh lost wickets on regular intervals on Day 2 of the first Test but were still able to register a first innings score of 513.
Starting the Day at 374/4, the hosts lost centurion Mominul Haque early and never quite recovered from the blow.
On Day 1, Mominul hit 175, after the hosts elected to bat at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
The left-hander shared a 236-run third-wicket stand with former captain Mushfiqur Rahim, who fell just short of his fifth Test hundred after scoring 92 off 192 balls.
Sri Lanka will now look to bat well and at least get close to Bangladesh’s first innings total.
