
The 2018 Trinity and St. Anthony’s rugby fixture has been re-scheduled to kick off on Monday 12th March With the unrest in the Kandy district coming to a standstill.
The game that was orginally scheduled for the 11th of March was postponed until further notice when the unrest in the Kandy Digana and Theldeniya area escalated to a position where the government had to declare a state of emergency and impose curfew within the district.
With the situation returning back to normal, the Trinity and St. Anthony’s rugby fixture has been re-scheduled to Monday (12).
However, the starting time of the game has been brought forward to 3.00 p.m. in a bid ensure the security of the schoolboys and spectators attending the game.
