A request to the private or mercantile sector to grant a holiday tomorrow, Friday June 18, has been sent out this afternoon by the Ministry of Labour Relations and Productivity Promotion.
The fax states that since Friday June 18 has been declared a public holiday by the government, the Ministry requests the mercantile sector to follow suit and declare the day as a holiday.
