The body of a 17-year-old, who drowned in the seas off Matara yesterday, has been recovered.
The teen in question and two other schoolboys had gone missing while bathing in the sea area off Wellamadama in Matara last morning.
A search and rescue operation was initiated soon after the incident to locate missing children during which the body of one schoolboy was recovered.
