Sri Lanka, thanks to Bhanuka Rajapaksa’s unbeaten 71, have set a 171-run target for Pakistan in the final match of Asia Cup 2022 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on Sunday (September 11).
Sri Lankans scored 170 runs by losing six wickets in 20 overs after Pakistan skipper won the toss and put them to bat first.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa (not out) hit a brilliant innings of 71 runs off 45 balls with six boundaries and three over-boundaries.
Wanindu Hasaranga scored 36 runs from 21 balls with four boundaries and an over-boundary.
Dhananjaya de Silva bagged 28 runs off 21 balls and Chamika Karunaratne (not out) scored 14 runs from 14 balls. Opener Pathum Nissanka scored 8 runs.
For Pakistan, Haris Rauf smashed three wickets for 29 runs.
