23 Sri Lankan players among registrations for 2023 IPL auction

A total of 991 players have signed up to be a part of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Player Auction.

 

The auction is scheduled to take place on 23 December, with 786 uncapped and 20 players from Associated Nations.

 

While there are 714 Indian players due to be auctioned, 23 Sri Lankan cricketers – including Charith Asalanka, Dasun Shanaka, Dushmanta Chameera, Niroshan Dickwella, Angelo Mathews, Kusal Mendis, Pathum Nissanka, Dhananjaya Silva, Jeffery Vandersay, Dunith Wellalage and Chamika Karunaratne – too, are amongst the 277 foreign players.

 

Player registrations closed on 30 November.

 

Given below is a detailed list of the list of players;

 

- Capped Indian (19 players)
- Capped International (166 players)
- Associate (20 players)
- Uncapped Indians who were a part of previous IPL seasons (91 players)
- Uncapped International who were a part of previous IPL seasons (3 players)
- Uncapped Indians (604 players)
- Uncapped Internationals (88 players)
