Jaffna Kings registered their victory beating Colombo Stars by 8 wickets in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2022 on Monday at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Batting first, Colombo Stars scored 128/9.
In reply, Rahmanullah Gurbaz bagged 69 runs including 4 fours and 8 sixes in his innings and Avishka Fernando 40*, helping Jaffna Kings to post 131/2 against Colombo Stars.
Dominic Drakes and Jeffrey Vandersay took one wicket in each for Colombo Stars, while Shoaib Malik and Thisara Perera took 02 wickets in each for Jaffna Kings.
