Monday, a special holiday for Tamil medium schools

Monday (November 13) has been declared a special holiday for Tamil medium schools in the country, the Ministry of Education says.

 

The decision was taken in respect of the Deepavali festival which falls on Sunday (Nov. 12).

 

However, schools will be held on November 18 (Saturday) instead of this holiday, the Education Ministry said further, adding that principals of respective schools should inform the directors of Zonal Education Officers about this special arrangement.
