Saud Shakeel scored his maiden double century as Pakistan was bowled out for 461 runs in the first innings of the first Test against Sri Lanka being played in Galle.
Albeit the visitor’s top order not having contributed much, Salman Agha and Shakeel’s 177-run partnership took Pakistan out of a difficult situation, helping them surpass the hosts total of 312.
Pakistan were bowled out for a score of 461 runs, and lead by 149 runs.
Sri Lanka’s Ramesh Mendis finished with a five-wicket haul, while Vishwa Fernando and Kasun Rajitha chipped with one each, and Prabath Jayasuriya taking three wickets of his own.
