
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) says Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets have recorded an increase of 2.3% in the month of January 2024.
Accordingly, the official reserve assets have reached USD 4,491 million in January 2024 from USD 4,392 million in December 2023.
“This includes a swap facility from People’s Bank of China, equivalent to around USD 1.4 billion, which is subject to conditionalities on usability”, CBSL added.
