Asitha Fernando in for second Test against Pakistan

Right-arm bowler Asitha Fernando has been included in the squad for the second Test match against Pakistan, as per a decision made by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Selection Committee.

 

Accordingly, Fernando will play in the second Test of the two-match series, scheduled to run from 24 – 28 July.

 

Pakistan currently lead the series 1-0, after sweeping a 4-wicket win over Sri Lanka inside of an hour on the fifth and final day of the first Test at the Galle International Stadium.
