Man found dead under suspicious circumstances in Haputale

The body of a person who had died under suspicious circumstances has been discovered in a thicket on the roadside in the Pitapola area of Haputale.
The deceased person has been identified as a 33-year-old resident of Idalgashinna area in Bowatta, the police said.
Police mentioned that the body has been placed in the mortuary of Diyathalawa Hospital for the post-mortem examination.
Haputale Police is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
