Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced that domestic cricket tournaments are likely to recommence soon, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Sports.
Issuing a release in this regard, SLC noted that the three-day matches scheduled amongst both, cricket clubs and Tier-B teams will commence on Friday (22 Sep.).
All cricket board-conducted domestic tournaments were halted on 01 September, following the ratification of an appeal advisory committee decision by the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, Roshan Ranasinghe.
In their press release issued today (21 Sep.), however, SLC noted that the relevant tournaments will recommence, once approved by the Ministry.
