The Department of Examination has commenced an investigation related to an incident where a group of students had not received a section of the Geography question paper during the 2023 (2024) G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination.
The Department of Examination has questioned the officials of the relevant examination center at the Al-Aman Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in Minuwangoda in relation to this incident.
In response to a query from Ada Derana, a spokesperson for Education Ministry assured that measures will be taken to prevent any injustices to the affected students.
However, many irregularities and issues have been reported with regard to the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination Examination held this year.
Responding to a question made in this regard, the spokesman mentioned that separate studies will be conducted on the candidates who faced the related incidents and necessary measures will be taken.
