Afghanistan won the toss and elected to field first against Sri Lanka this afternoon (Oct. 30) in the 30th ODI march of the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
The match will commence at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, Maharashtra at 2:00 pm today.
Meanwhile, injury-hit Sri Lanka has replaced Kusal Perera with Dimuth Karunaratne in the team, while Lahiru Kumara has been replaced by all-rounder Dushmantha Chameera. Chameera becomes Sri Lanka’s third injury replacement at the World Cup after Chamika Karunaratne and Angelo Mathews.
