Pakistan Women to play white-ball series in Sri Lanka after T20 World Cup

Pakistan women’s team will embark on a white-ball series in Sri Lanka shortly after the conclusion of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

The teams will face off in three ODIs, starting July 23, and as many T20I games, beginning on July 31. All the matches will be played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota.

The ODI series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29. While Pakistan are currently second in standings, with eight points from six matches, New Zealand lead the points table with 13 points.

Sri Lanka has a better head-to-head record in the 50-overs format, having won 22 of the 34 matches they have contested. Meanwhile, in the shortest format, Pakistan has an 11-9 edge from 21 matches.

Both teams are currently in England, competing in the Women’s T20 World Cup, which begins on Friday, June 12.

Pakistan begin their World Cup campaign against arch-rivals India on June 14, while Sri Lanka will take on the hosts England in the tournament opener.

Pakistan’s schedule for Sri Lanka tour:

1st ODI: July 23

2nd ODI: July 25

3rd ODI: July 28

1st T20I: July 31

2nd T20I: August 2

3rd T20I: August 4
