Richmond College marks 150th anniversary with grand commemorative walk

A special commemorative walk was held on June 19 to mark the 150th anniversary of Richmond College, Galle.
The event, which commenced from the college premises, witnessed the participation of more than 6,000 individuals, including current students, academic staff, past teachers, alumni, and parents.
Organized to celebrate the rich heritage and grandeur of the institution, the walk proceeded to the Samanala Ground in Galle, where a series of cultural and performance segments were held as part of the anniversary celebrations.
The occasion served as a significant milestone in the history of the college, bringing together members of the Richmond community to commemorate 150 years of educational excellence and tradition.
