Chinese Embassy donates school supplies and dry rations in Galle

A consignment of essential school supplies was distributed to students of Angulugaha Maha Vidyalaya in Galle today (24) under the patronage of Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Qi Zhenhong.

 

The donation programme was organized by the Chinese Embassy following a request made by leader of the Sarvajana Balaya and Member of Parliament Dilith Jayaweera.

 

Under the initiative, school supplies were provided for 500 students of the school, while 200 low-income families in the area received dry ration packs.

 

The programme was part of ongoing assistance efforts aimed at supporting education and community welfare at the grassroots level.
