President arrives in Parliament

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake arrived in Parliament, a short while ago.

 

President Dissanayake arrived in Parliament to join the adjournment debate on combating the drug menace moved by the government.

 

The President in his address is expected to detail the government’s programme and measures taken to eradicate the drug menace from the country.

 

The Head of State also expected to present details on the proposed legislations to combat narcotics and underworld activities.
