Laugfs Gas has also decided to reduce the price of it’s LP gas cylinders with effect from midnight today (03).

Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs. Rs. 1,280, bringing the new price to Rs. 4,965.

Meanwhile, the price of a 05 kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs. 512, with its new price at Rs. 1,988.

Issuing a statement, LAUGFS Gas said the LPG price reduction reflects favorable movements in international LPG market conditions.

The company said the price revision reflects its commitment to passing on the benefits of lower global LPG costs directly to Sri Lankan consumers at the earliest opportunity.

LAUGFS Gas further noted that it continues to strengthen Sri Lanka's energy infrastructure through investments in its import terminal at the Hambantota International Port, modern filling facilities, and its extensive island-wide distribution network.

According to the company, these long-term investments help ensure a reliable LPG supply while enabling it to deliver sustainable value to customers.

LAUGFS Gas further stated that it will continue to monitor developments in the international LPG market and pass on favorable cost movements to consumers whenever market conditions allow, while ensuring the long-term sustainability of its operations and uninterrupted service across the country.

Meanwhile, Litro Gas also announced a revision in prices of domestic LP gas cylinders with effect from midnight today (03).
