Special dengue prevention operation in Western Province from tomorrow
A special dengue prevention operation will be launched tomorrow (05), targeting 23 high-risk dengue zones across the Western Province.
The operation will be implemented under the coordination of the 'Clean Sri Lanka' programme.
According to the organisers, the programme will be carried out with the participation of several state institutions and community stakeholder groups, including the health sector, the Tri-Forces, the Sri Lanka Police, District Secretariats, Divisional Secretariats, local government authorities, and voluntary organisations.
The joint operation is expected to cover all 23 identified high-risk dengue zones in the Western Province, with a focus on enhancing public participation in dengue prevention efforts.
