Man arrested with heroin worth over Rs. 30 Million in Enderamulla

A 35-year-old man has been arrested in Enderamulla with 2.325 kilograms of heroin, police stated.

 

The seized stock of heroin by the Police Special Task Force (STF) is estimated to be worth more than Rs. 30 million.

 

The arrest was made during a raid conducted by officers attached to the STF's Special Operations Unit in Enderamulla, Wattala.

 

Preliminary investigations have indicated that the suspect is allegedly linked to the drug trafficking network of "Bloemendhal Ravi," an alleged organized crime figure and suspected narcotics trafficker.

 

The suspect and the seized heroin have been handed over to the Enderamulla Police Station for further investigations.
