Skin diseases have emerged as a serious health concern, according to dermatology specialists.
Consultant Dermatologist Dr. Nayani Madarasinghe said there has been a significant increase in the number of patients visiting clinics seeking treatment for skin-related conditions.
She made these remarks while attending a media briefing held at the Health Promotion Bureau.
Dr. Madarasinghe noted that the rising number of patients seeking dermatological care highlights the growing burden of skin diseases on public health.
