Several spells of showers expected in parts of the island
Several spells of showers will occur in Sabaragamuwa province and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts, today (13), the Department of Meteorology said.
A few showers may occur in Western and North-western provinces, it stated.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over the other areas of the island.
Strong winds about 40-50 kmph can be expected at times over Western slopes of the Central hills, North-central and North-western provinces and in Monaragala, Hambantota, Trincomalee and Mannar districts, the Met. Department added.
