Sumathi Awards: "Pulse" wins Best Lifestyle and Fashion Programme award

Derana Macro Entertainment's "Pulse" website received the award for Best Lifestyle and Fashion Programme in the Digital Media category at the Sumathi Awards 2026 this evening (15).

 

The Pulse website has been providing the latest entertainment and lifestyle news from Sri Lanka and around the world since 2015.

 

Meanwhile, Ada Derana's "Rebuild Sri Lanka" programme, directed by Rukmal Mallawa, was awarded Best Current Affairs Programme at the Sumathi Awards ceremony.

 

Ada Derana's "Science for Life" programme, directed by K.C. Saranga, also received recognition, securing the award for Best Educational Programme.

 

The network further strengthened its presence at the awards with honours for Investigative News Reporting and Current Affairs Reporting, recognising its contribution to news coverage.

 

In the individual awards category, Ada Derana Sinhala News Presenter Parindya Gunasekara was named Best Female News Presenter.

 

The awards were presented at the 31st edition of the Sumathi Awards, held at the Monarch Imperial Hotel in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte.

 

The Sumathi Awards is one of Sri Lanka's leading television award ceremonies, recognising achievements in television production, journalism, entertainment and digital media.
