Mainly dry weather expected in most parts of the island today
A few showers may occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North-Western provinces, as well as in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, and Matara districts, the Department of Meteorology said.
Mainly dry weather will prevail in other parts of the island, it said.
Strong winds, reaching speeds of about 40–50 kmph, can be expected at times over the Northern, North-Central, and North-Western provinces, as well as in the Matale, Hambantota, and Trincomalee districts.
