Applications have been called from qualified individuals to fill existing and anticipated vacancies within the National Police Commission.
According to a statement issued by the Constitutional Council, eligible candidates are invited to submit applications for consideration for appointment as members of the Commission.
Applications must be prepared using the prescribed format available under the "Recommendation for Appointment as a Member of the National Police Commission" quick link on the official Parliament website.
The Constitutional Council said completed applications must be submitted by July 31, 2026.
Applications may be sent by registered post to the Acting Secretary-General, Constitutional Council, Office of the Constitutional Council, Parliament of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, or by email to constitutionalcouncil@parliament.lk.
The Council has instructed applicants to indicate "Recommendation for Appointment as a Member of the National Police Commission" on the top left-hand corner of the envelope or in the subject line of the email.
