Ex-President Rajapaksa commends Ambassador Qi's contribution to Sri Lanka–China relations
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has bid farewell to outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Qi Zhenhong, expressing appreciation for his contribution to strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
In a post on X (formally Twitter), former President Rajapaksa said it was a pleasure to bid farewell to Ambassador Qi and his spouse, thanking them for their friendship and dedicated service to Sri Lanka during the envoy's tenure.
He also extended his best wishes to Ambassador Qi in his future endeavors and reaffirmed his commitment to the longstanding friendship between Sri Lanka and China.
