The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has updated landslide early warnings issued for four districts.
Accordingly, a Level 2 (Amber) landslide warning has been issued for the Pasbage Korale Divisional Secretariat Division in the Kandy District, urging residents to remain on high alert.
The Level 2 warning is also in effect for the Talawakelle, Kotmale West, Ambagamuwa, Nuwara Eliya, Norwood, and Kotmale East Divisional Secretariat Divisions in the Nuwara Eliya District.
In the Kegalle District, Level 2 landslide warnings have been issued for the Dehiowita, Bulathkohupitiya, Yatiyantota, Deraniyagala, and Aranayake Divisional Secretariat Divisions.
Meanwhile, Level 1 (Yellow) landslide warnings have been issued for the Doluwa, Panvila, Medadumbara, Udapalatha, Ganga Ihala Korale, Udadumbara, and Deltota Divisional Secretariat Divisions in the Kandy District.
In the Ratnapura District, Level 1 warnings have been issued for the Ratnapura, Opanayake, and Imbulpe Divisional Secretariat Divisions, advising residents to remain vigilant.
