The Mount Lavinia Divisional Crime Investigation Bureau has arrested two suspects who allegedly aided and abetted the recent shooting that occurred near Kandawala Junction in Ratmalana, with one of them found in possession of crystal methamphetamine (‘Ice’).

The arrests were made yesterday (13), following an extensive investigation launched by the Mount Lavinia Divisional Crime Investigation Bureau into the shooting that took place near Kandawala Junction within the Ratmalana Police Division on August 1.

Based on information received by the investigating officers, one of the suspects was arrested in Ratmalana on suspicion of aiding and abetting the crime, with 22 grams of ‘Ice’ found in his possession.
