Search operations continue further after Navy vessel distressed off Angulana
Search operations are continuing today (16), following Dvora vessel of the Sri Lanka Navy was involved in an accident in the seas off the coast of Angulana, the Sri Lanka Navy said.
The 11 naval personnel who were rescued, yesterday (15) remain under medical care and are in stable condition.
Meanwhile, a salvage operation for the distressed naval craft will be carried out today, with prevailing rough sea conditions expected to pose a significant challenge, the Navy stated.
