The August Aswesuma welfare payment will be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts on August 19, the Welfare Benefits Board stated.
The Board announced the payment schedule in an official statement.
Under the first phase of the Aswesuma Welfare Benefits Scheme, payments will be made to 999,502 beneficiary families, with a total allocation of over Rs. 9.24 billion.
Meanwhile, 212,955 beneficiary families covered under the second phase are scheduled to receive a total of over Rs. 2.32 billion.
Accordingly, payments totaling more than Rs. 11.56 billion will be distributed among over 1.2 million beneficiary families under the two phases.
The Welfare Benefits Board said the relevant funds will be credited directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts on August 19.
