Ex-Minister Keheliya Rambukwella granted bail in one corruption case

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (18) ordered the release of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella on bail in connection with one of the corruption cases filed against him by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).

 

Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued the order after considering the submissions made by both the Bribery Commission and the attorneys representing the former Minister, said Ada Derana reporter.

 

Meanwhile, proceedings relating to another case involving Rambukwella are still underway, with submissions currently being presented before court.
