22-year-old arrested with 18.6kg of ‘Ice’ in Bandaragama

A 22-year-old individual has been arrested with approximately 18.672 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (‘Ice’), during a police raid in Maswila, Bandaragama, police stated.

 

According to police, officers attached to the Police Special Task Force (STF) conducted the raid at Wenkesiyawatta, Maswila, based on information received by the unit.

 

The suspect, who is a resident of Bandaragama, was arrested while in possession of the narcotics.

 

He was subsequently handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations.

 

Police said further inquiries are currently being conducted by the PNB.
