President pays last respects to late musician Nanda Malini

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake paid his final respects to the late veteran musician Visharad Dr. Nanda Malini.

 

The President visited the residence of the late Dr. Nanda Malini in Nawala yesterday (21), where her remains have been placed for public viewing.

 

A large number of people have also been arriving to pay their last respects to the veteran singer.

 

The final rites of Nanda Malini are scheduled to be held today (22) at 5.30 p.m. at the General Cemetery in Borella.

 

Legendary Sri Lankan singer Nanda Malini passed away on August 20 at the age of 82 at her home in Nawala.
