
The death toll from the catastrophic flash floods along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river corridors has risen to 31, according to official updates released by the Bagmati Province Police Office in Hetauda.
The widespread surge of water—originating in the Rasuwa border area and cascading downstream—has impacted multiple districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and Chitwan.
Police figures confirm that alongside the 31 casualties, 93 people have sustained injuries.
Emergency security personnel, including joint search-and-rescue teams from the Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police, have successfully rescued 93 individuals from devastated settlements and stranded riverbanks.
Relief operations and search efforts remain actively underway across the affected province to trace additional missing persons and treat the injured.
