Three missing Balangoda schoolgirls found in Trincomalee
Three 17-year-old schoolgirls who went missing from the Ellarawa area in Pinnawala, Balangoda, have been found in Trincomalee, police stated.
The three girls, who are students of a leading school in Balangoda, had left their homes yesterday (31) to attend a tuition class but failed to return.
Their parents subsequently lodged a complaint with the Balangoda Police, prompting an investigation into their disappearance.
Police said the investigation led to the girls being located in Trincomalee.
