Chinese Defence Attaché meets Sri Lanka Navy Commander

Senior Colonel Fu Xiao, Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka, has met with Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando, today (04) at the Navy Headquarters.

 

During the meeting, Senior Colonel Fu Xiao extended his congratulations to Vice Admiral Damian Fernando on assuming office as the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.

 

The two sides subsequently engaged in cordial discussions on matters of bilateral importance, including cooperation between the navies of Sri Lanka and China.

 

The meeting also featured an exchange of mementoes between the two sides to mark the official occasion.
