
Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has left the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) after providing a statement regarding investigations into the MiG fighter jet deal.
The former President had been summoned to the FCID to provide a statement regarding the controversial MiG aircraft purchase transaction.
Accordingly, he arrived at the FCID this morning (11).
After providing a statement for several hours, he subsequently left the FCID, said Ada Derana reporter.
