Two High Court judges recommended for appointment to Appeals Court
A recommendation submitted by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to appoint High Court Judges Navaratne Marasinghe and Manjula Thilakaratne as judges of the Court of Appeal has been referred to the Constitutional Council.
Meanwhile, on the recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission, President Dissanayake is scheduled to appoint the following three judicial service officers as High Court judges tomorrow (23):
1. Perumal Sivakumar
2. Anandi Kanagaratnam
3. Gnanesa Lalith Kannangara
The appointments are being made based on recommendations submitted by the Judicial Service Commission.
