48-hour water cut announced for several areas in Katugastota

Water supply to several areas in Katugastota will be suspended for 48 hours due to essential maintenance work at the Katugastota Water Treatment Plant, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced.   


Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended from 9.00 a.m. tomorrow (06) until 9.00 a.m. on October 08.


The NWSDB noted that the supply of water will be suspended for residents of Uduwawala, Rajapihilla and Gonigoda. 


The general public has also been requested to use the water stored for the duration of the interruption sparingly.
