LPL: Jaffna Kings seals comprehensive win against Colombo Stars

Jaffna Kings comprehensively beat Colombo Stars by 93 runs in Match 9 of the Lanka Premier League on Friday (Dec. 10), at the R.Premadasa Stadium, Khettarama, Colombo.

Colombo Stars won the toss and asked Jaffna Kings to bat first. Starting off, things were in the Stars’ favour, both Kings openers going for a total of 4 runs.

However, unfortunately for the Stars, Tom Kohler-Cadmore (40), Shoaib Malik (44), Ashen Bandara (42) and Thisara Perera (57) took control and smashed the ball around the park.

Jaffna Kings headed in 207/6 at the innings break.

Colombo Stars were all out for just 114, with Wahab Riaz 4-25 the star with the ball for the Kings.
