Police offer cash reward for information on museum robbery

Police headquarters today offered a cash reward of Rs. 2 million for correct information regarding the robbery that took place at the Colombo National Museum, during which several items of historical value were stolen.

Police requested that anyone with accurate information come forward and assist the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) with its ongoing investigation into the robbery.    

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has issued clear instruction to offer a Rs. 1 million reward and also to protect the identity of those who provide the information.
